Kada bivša zvijezda američkog nogometa Paul Wrecking Crewe (Adam Sandler) završi u zatvoru zbog vožnje u pijanom stanju, postaje glavni lik u planu dvoličnog upravitelja (James Cromwell) kojim želi zabaviti osoblje zatvora. Crewe mora sastaviti ekipu kažnjenika koji će se suprotstaviti sadističkim stražarima u napetoj utakmici američkog nogometa u zatvoru.
